10+ years in the fitness industry and over 700 clients helped, Coach Missi had a vision when creating Kaleo Fitness and hopes to help impact many lives to come. Our philosophy is lifestyle change vs. diet. We take a holistic approach to behavior change, habit development, and changing the body to drive results that actually last.

I’ve worked on both ends of the spectrum when it comes to health and wellness, as a Medical Assistant and X-ray Tech. I have experience in reactive medicine, where you treat ailments after they arise, as well as proactive medicine, where you focus on a healthy lifestyle to minimize probability of illness and injury. I enjoy working with people proactively, to help them achieve their health goals as well as change habits and perceptions on what is “healthy”. I myself have been active in fitness and athletics for over 15 years I started weight lifting in High School and have continue it ever since. I’ve played sports my whole life, but am most active in golf and tennis, and always up for something active and competitive.
Exercise, diet and overall self-care is something that has made a positive change in my life many times over. I understand everyone is different and so are their goals and preferences when it comes to training styles. That’s why I’m happy to offer one on one, group or even virtual training. When it comes to change it starts with action, don’t let the start stop you.

My name is Kianna, founder of EmpowerHer Wellness. As a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, I help women build strength, create sustainable fat loss without restrictive dieting, learn to connect with their body, and overcome gym anxiety.
After years of running on coffee, under-eating, and struggling with injuries, I learned that transformation isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing the right things the right way.
Through supportive coaching and education, I teach women how to train with proper form, build strength, fuel their bodies through sustainable nutrition, and build long term habits that fit their lifestyle, so they feel confident in their own skin.
I believe in helping women understand the why behind what they’re doing so they feel empowered, and not confused. Whether you need a coach in person or online, I’m your girl!

With over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry, Mike decided to take the leap into the frontlines as a KF personal trainer to help others transform their lives. Mike has a passion for health, fitness, and longevity. He has a background in weight lifting, football, and wrestling. He believes in a holistic approach to wellness by training well and eating whole nutritious foods. He specializes in helping individuals gain muscle, learn proper weight training techniques, and push themselves in a supportive setting to yield results.

My name is Julissa, and I’m so excited to connect with you!
Originally from Northern California, my life has always revolved around sports and movement. I competed in collegiate track and field for four years (200m, 400m, and relays) and had the incredible opportunity to represent Team USA in basketball while competing in the Dominican Republic. I combined that passion with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and my ISSA Personal Training Certification.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching athletes at Jessup University, Pepperdine University, and Elevate. What I love most, however, is taking proven strength and conditioning principles and helping everyday people apply them to their own fitness journey.
My coaching style is high-energy, supportive, and results-driven. Whether your goal is to get stronger, build confidence, improve athletic performance, or simply feel better in your day-to-day life, I’m here to help you every step of the way.

Dr. Rajni Purewal- PT, DPT, MPH (our on-site Physical Therapist)
I am a licensed Physical Therapist with years of clinical experience in neuro, ortho, pelvic health, and sports settings. I hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC) and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of California Davis. I have always had a keen interest in wellness, holistic health care, and the body’s amazing way of healing itself. My passion primarily lies in treating neurological conditions, chronic pain recovery & injury prevention, and women’s health.
As a working mother myself, I quickly realized 1) how limited our time is and 2) how few resources there are for women in their pregnancy and/or postpartum era, including a lack of education and support on return to fitness.
At Restore and Redefine (within Kaleo Fitness), the restoration of your health, and redefining what health means for you, is the core mission of my practice.

Steven Land- NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist

If I could summarize my life passion, it would be helping people achieve health and wellness so they can live the life they dream of.
Like many others, I grew up very active—playing competitive soccer, along with swimming, tennis, and even golf.
Over the years, I went through 4 ACL surgeries and a total of 5 knee surgeries from soccer. That experience is what led me to become passionate about injury prevention, rehabilitation, and learning how to live pain-free while still doing the activities I love.
What I teach (and what you’ll learn) is a multi-functional, effective movement and mobility system. You’ll learn how to move correctly in all situations. I also use a strength-based rehab approach to help you identify movement and positioning errors, improve performance, and build better mobility.
My goal is to help you eliminate physical restrictions, improve your range of motion, develop better motor control, and ultimately feel your absolute best.
